Where do I find my Ford Owner’s Manual?

We’ve got you covered. You can find Owner’s Manuals online going back 10 years, plus Warranty Guides, Quick Reference Guides, and more. For vehicles with SYNC® 4 Technology, you can also find your owner’s manual digitally on your in-vehicle display.

What do I need to do before I can start using remote services?

Remote start/stop, lock/unlock, vehicle health, and more is available once you activate your vehicle in the FordPass® app.*

Connected Services and features depend on compatible AT&T network availability. How do I remove a vehicle from the FordPass® app garage?
  1. First, select the vehicles icon
  2. Swipe to the vehicle you’d like to remove, then select the Vehicle Details button
  3. Select Remove Vehicle then confirm your selection
  4. You’ve successfully removed your vehicle

What is Ford Pickup & Delivery?

Just tell your dealer when and where you’d like to have your Ford vehicle picked up and we’ll come get it, service it at the dealership, and return it to you. Get more Pickup & Delivery details and schedule service.*

What’s the difference between Ford Digital Experience and SYNC®?

The Ford Digital Experience* is a new spin on our in-vehicle technology. We’ve updated the cluster and in-dash screen as well as integrated Google apps and services like Google Assistant, Google Maps, and more on Google Play. It also offers 5G connectivity.

 

Both the Ford Digital Experience and SYNC have Alexa Built-in integration and connectivity packages available, as well as integration with your phone and many other shared features.

 

And the integration of Google apps and services into our new experience doesn’t mean you have to say goodbye to Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™. You have the power to choose — these options are available and can work together seamlessly. (For example, you can talk to Google Assistant while Apple CarPlay is active.)


* Some Ford Digital Experience features require a Connected Services plan. Don’t drive while distracted or while using handheld devices. Use voice-operated systems when possible. Some features may be locked out while the vehicle is in gear. Not all features are compatible with all phones.

How do I schedule software updates?

Your vehicle will arrive with Automatic Updates enabled. Make sure you keep Automatic Updates toggled to On so your updates will be downloaded as soon they’re available.* Learn more about software updates and troubleshooting.

How do I connect to Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® in my Ford vehicle?

Your Ford vehicle may be compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. To use either feature, you need to connect your Android device, or connect your iPhone® or iPad® to your vehicle’s SYNC® or Ford Digital Experience system.
