A Guide to India’s Lesser Known Tiger Reserves

The Tiger is calling, and you must Go!

It’s a treat to be born in a country that hosts an astonishing number of Tigers. As per All India Tiger Estimation Report 2018, India has an estimated 3,000 Tigers and is considered one of the safest habitats for the big cat all over the globe. Thanks to our conservation efforts, Tiger population in India more than doubled to 2,967 at the end of 2018 from merely 1,400 in 2014.

As we celebrate July 29 as International Tiger Day, we’ve handpicked some of the hidden and less frequented reserves and sanctuaries for you and your family to spot this prized jewel of the jungle.
